I am a choreographer, dancer and pedagogue living in Helsinki, Finland. I work with dance and multimaterial bodily thinking making performances and performative events, often in and with public spaces. My practice extends to curating and organizing artistic happenings, teaching and writing texts in different contexts on body, dance and the working structures of art making. I am working on a three-year artist grant awarded by Arts Promotion Center Finland during the years 2024-2026.
In my choreographic work I am interested in the processes and different registers of bodily thinking. Making art is for me a way of practicing ecological sensitivity and speculative somatics that I approach through sensuousness, flesh, and extra linguistic expressivities. I want to cultivate sensuous ways of knowing and embodied thinking into this world that I feel is pierced through reason, making sense and algorithms.
